Our participation in the Building Material and Tools (Nigeria) Show (Nov 11–13) was a commercial triumph, but the true highlight of the journey was the overwhelming warmth of the Nigerian people.
Looking back at three intense days of networking, product demos, and strategic discussions at Booth D10, we are filled with gratitude. We came to Lagos to showcase electric hoists and lifting gear; we left with a profound appreciation for the vibrant spirit of this incredible nation.

These partnerships will soon ensure Toyo International products are easily accessible in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt, backed by local support.

The Nigerian Spirit: Unmatched Hospitality
However, the highlight of our trip wasn’t just on the trade floor. It was what happened after the work was done.
Nigeria is famous for its hospitality, but experiencing it firsthand is something else entirely. From the warm handshakes that felt like greeting old friends , to the vibrant late-night conversations, we felt truly at home.
The photo above captures the essence of our trip better than words can. It wasn’t just buyers and sellers meeting; it was a meeting of cultures. We bonded over shared goals and, of course, shared food. The bold flavors of Jollof Rice and the spicy kick of Suya fueled our discussions, breaking down barriers and building bridges. Enjoying the breeze on Victoria Island , we learned that in Lagos, business is personal—and that is exactly how we like it. That “Lagos Welcome” turned us from visitors into family.
